Honored at Banquet
The Association of Professional Oklahoma Educators Foundation on Friday night recognized three of the state's top educators and a volunteer at its fifth annual Excellence in Education Banquet.
The awards and dinner were at Oak Tree Country Club and featured a keynote address from Tracy McDaniel, principal of Oklahoma City's Knowledge is Power Program Reach College Preparatory School.
Our own Sharon Sikes of Russell Babb Elementary in the Harrah School District, a GE Instructor, received the Kathy Cox Educator Award.
