I am reading a new book entitled "Kiss, Bow, or Shake Hands. It seems to be a good resource for cultural overviews."

Betty,
This makes me think of the reference in Bible times to greeting one another with a holy kiss. Our society has changed so that we don't kiss one another, but the value of the sincere warmth of the Magic Triad certainly has its place as our cultural equivalent of the holy kiss as saints greet one another. Don't you think?
